IPSS | “A ANTA” – Associação Cultural e de Desenvolvimento da Beirã, é uma associação de desenvolvimento local e simultaneamente uma IPSS, Instituição Particular de Solidariedade Social de utilidade pública, sediada no concelho de Marvão Nasceu em 1995 e surgiu da necessidade de impulsionar desenvolvimento à Beirã, uma das maiores freguesias do concelho, que nasceu e se desenvolveu com os caminhos-de-ferro e com a fixação dos serviços alfandegários. Em 2007 (02 de Julho) entrou em funcionamento a 1ª Unidade de Média Duração e Reabilitação do distrito de Portalegre, no âmbito da Rede Nacional dos Cuidados Continuados Integrados, inicialmente com capacidade para 19 doentes e posteriormente com capacidade para 20 camas.
