About

The Social and Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) is a multi-stakeholder initiative committed to improving working conditions in global supply chains. Instead of redundant, resource-intensive social audits, SLCP offers a streamlined solution: the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF) - a universal social assessment tool that delivers credible and actionable data, enabling stakeholders to shift focus from repetitive assessments to driving real improvements for workers.

Mission

To unite and support all stakeholders by developing and deploying a Converged Assessment Framework (CAF) that delivers harmonized, accessible and trusted data.

Programs

  • The Converged Assessment Framework

SLCP’s Gateway and Data Collection Tool allow over 14,700 facilities to capture high-quality social and labor data just once and share it with any business partner. As a non-profit, we offer this digital infrastructure as a neutral, cost-effective foundation. By the end of 2025, this interoperability unlocked $35 million in potential savings, allowing resources to be redeployed where they matter most: for the workers. With over 90 global brands already accepting SLCP data, our technology is the foundational piece of the sustainability puzzle. Growing adoption of the CAF, coupled with enhancements to the Tool have enabled SLCP to generate deeper data insights from aggregate facility data. For example, the CAF now includes more meaningful gender-related data points. This highlights the potential for aggregate SLCP data to identify trends and inform policy making.
