What is SDG 5?
SDG 5, Gender Equality, is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda. It aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, and it covers ending discrimination and violence against women and girls, recognizing unpaid care work, and ensuring full participation in leadership and decision-making.
